The Announcement of Winners of 2018 National Youth "Urban Furniture" Creative Design Competition

On December 27, representatives of young designers, heads of creative design institutions and entrepreneurs from all over the country gathered in Pinghe packing factory, a century old historical building in Wuhan. After more than half year's promotion, roadshow and competition, 2018 National Youth "Urban Furniture" Creative Design Competition was ended. As one of the organizers of this competition, Luo Zhiwei, secretary-general of SPCCD, was invited to attend the award ceremony and visited the creative design city on the left bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan during the event.

The competition was jointly held by the leading group office of the creative design city on the left bank of the Yangtze River, the construction bureau of Jiang'an district of Wuhan and the talent’s create and capital alliance of the Yangtze River. Since the launch of competition, it has entered famous universities and institutes such as Wuhan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China Academy of Building Research, etc., and received more than 500 contributions from all over China. A number of excellent works stand out after evaluated by the competition evaluation committee.

The holding of National Youth "Urban Furniture" Creative Design Competition aims to build a creative design product platform and polish the business card of the creative design city so as to attract a number of famous industrial design, product design enterprises and global high-end creative design talents and projects to settle down on the left bank of the Yangtze River. "The competition is a platform for discovering good products, works and talents.
